Yeah. It has been eighteen years. Who would have thought life would pass by that fast. Oh well, hopefully I would have more years to come!

I was reading this advertisement in Yahoo!, I was really struck by the quotations it had:

1. Know your boundaries, then go beyond them.
2. Grow up, dont grow old.

Well, it makes sense. It think does. I can't seem to explain why it struck me the most, but then some things are really difficult to explain.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who remembered.
¡Muchas Gracias Amigos y Amigas!

A Happy Birthday to Aquirion,Aluminium,Determinance and Crookshanks!

In the near future...
Posted at 08:05 PM

Ang daming nangyayari these days! I can't believe na college life would be so hectic. I used to complain when I was in high school about these so called "hell weeks" but those were nothing compared to what you have to experience in college. I have pretty much "core curriculum" subjects this sem :

1. Sociology and Anthropology (super boring pero masaya kasi magbasa ng SA handouts eh!)
2. Asian History (super super boring pero cant help but reminisce my second year asian history.. does ahura mazda ring a bell?)
3. Introduction to Doing a Catholic Theology (mixed feelings about this.. sometimes super depressing, sometimes super saya naman in a weird way)
4. Spanish Language and Culture (contrary to popular belief, hindi ganon kadali ang spanish, pero I am so glad that I have Ms. Heidi Aquino as my teacher! the best!)
5. Basic Economics, Agrarian Reform and Taxation (well, management economics ang course ko, so bawal magreklamo! lets just say na intro pa lang ito.)

plus *drum roll please* 6. Principles of Accounting! (i actually like the o.c. aspect of accounting - the best talaga ang combination ng o.c. people with o.c. subjects. Basta aral lang ng aral!)

And aside from that, marami pang commitments! NSTP (tapos na! technically may paper pa, pero at least wala nang area insertion), Pastoral work for Theo (2 more sessions!) and cotillon practices (1 more session and debut na ni pam!)

Gladly, after a week from now, I will have (in my possession) my weekends! I actually can not remember what having a whole weekend feels. It just seems that ever since this school year started, someone or something takes my weekend away from me. I am not saying that I do not like it (i in fact love what I have been doing for the past weeks) it is just that there is a different kind of feeling when you get a weekend's amount of rest compared to a hectic weekend.

Ano pa ba? hmmm... ah.... technically kahit wala akong midterms na tinake, tapos na ang midterms namin! So nakakalahati na ako ng acc 10, ng spn 1 (FLC) at Th 121 - the three subjects that I fear the most. If you told me a few years ago that these are the subjects that I would be fearing in my first semester as a 2nd year college student, I would have laughed and dismissed that thought in an instant.

Well, this is now. I can't deny that the workload is getting to me but there are a lot of things in life that makes it worth living! Kaya pa yan!

No hay mal que por bien no venga.

That's it. Still got to get back to studying for SA!

I still have it in me!
Posted at 01:37 AM

Well, another week has passed. I started this week dreading the many things i have to, want to and  ultimately must do. Sadly, it seems to me that I have not been able to achieve my potential. This is so frustrating.

Just when i thought that I am finally getting some control over my life, here comes reality checking in. The good thing is however, when you are in this position, there is nowhere to go but up, or in this case, hopefully way way up.

Next week would be another week and I am really planning for me to do well. I STILL have it in me. FMS yata ako.

Nga pala, Happy 18th Birthday to my blockmate, Pamela Bello! Super saya ng debut mo kanina!

That is it for now. I am in no mood to elaborate.
