You take it so casually...
Posted at 08:50 PM

I had a full-day-thursday today. Surprisingly, I did not feel that tired. I got my first paper for Theo 131 back kanina. Haha Nakakahiya.. pinatayo pa kami ni sir. Honor siya sana.. except for the fact that more than half of the class was standing up. I just wish this is a sign of good things to come.

I just have to say something. If you feel that that its meant for you, to a certain extent it probably is.

Hey. I have no problems with you its just that you take everything so casually. It just makes me feel how shallow everything must seem to you. Just when I am starting/learning to trust you again... after the hell that I had to go through. It was meant to be with you and not with anyone else. But I guess its too big of a favor to ask. Sige. I guess I have to be fine with that.

I had the time to chat with a kabarkada of mine from high school. He was narrating some things from his life and he told me he was making a fortune in designing websites. haha exag.... pero diyos ko... binabayaran siya para gumawa ng websites. To be honest, i am green with envy. I may not be as good as he is... pero i am still capable of doing it. After all, you dont have to be the best to be part of an industry. Kainis... haha

I think Goblet is sick. Wag naman sana. Namulubi na ako dun sa parvo incident niya tapos ngayon feeling ko there is something that will really burn a hole in my pocket.

Anyway, I still have History articles to read. And then theology articles. And then OPMAN chapterS. Good luck talaga.

I hope you don't mind.

Your Song

My gift is my song
And this one's for you
And you can tell everybody
That this is your song
It maybe quite simple
But now that it's done
Hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind
That I put down in words
How wonderful life was when you were in my world

Sat on the roof
And I kicked off the moss
Well some of the verses well
They got me quite cross
But the sun's been kind
While I wrote this song
It's for people like you that
Keep it turned on

So excuse me for forgetting
But these things I do
You see I've forgotten
If they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is well I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen

[Allesandro- opera]

And you can tell everybody
This is your song
It may be quite simple
But now that it's done
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words

How wonderful life was when you were in my world
I hope you don't mind
I hope you don't mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life was when you were in my world

A Trip to Quiapo
Posted at 11:16 AM

Yesterday, Justin and I went to Quiapo. Apparently, I had some errands to do and I decided to "request' that he accompany me. We had to drop by his house for a while ( had a peek into his room which had a noticeable improvement ) and then we headed to Quiapo. It would have been a fun ride except for the fact that it was raining so hard that traffic was much worse than it normally is.

I did what I had to do. And then we looked around. It would have been fun except for the fact that Justin already left his school bag sa house niya while I was still toiling with mine.

We went around for a while and then we saw the fortune tellers. We were apprehensive at first... nakakahiya naman kasi di namin alam kung magkano yung bayad sa kania. Paalis na dapat kami when a couple of fortune tellers called us to come near them. Actually, in a way, naconvince nila kaming dalawa - nagulat nga ako kasi i did not plan to have my fortune read.

Regular playing cards yung kang Justin while tarot cards yung akin. Meron pa ngang palm reading yung akin eh. To be honest, naniniwala naman ako sa mga ganyan eh pero I was really amazed. Unang statement pa lang nung girl, naamaze na ako eh. ("she had me at hello" ba ito? There are some things that I think she censored out of courtesy pero she hit the bullseye. Natuwa lang ako dahil sobrang totoo ng mga sinabi niya - its that or super general nga talaga ng buhay ko so much so that everything she said had an applicaton to my life.

I paid a hundred pesos for that. Some people may think that its money down the drain pero after all the things that I heard, its money well, well spent. hahaha natawa talaga ako dun sa hula kay Justin .. wahahaha

After that, we crossed the street through the underground passageway to buy DVDs. Hahay DVD heaven na nga talaga ang Quiapo. For everyone who patronizes Metrowalk, did you know that they get their stock from Quiapo din? The thing about Quiapo is that a lot of people question the quality of the DVD they can buy there. The thing is, you can test the DVD before you purchase it - and you can even buy 3 dvds for a hundred pesos.

Ang gastos naman kahapon. Hahaha I did not intend to spend pero I did. Money well spent. I'll just keep telling myself. hahaha

I know that I have a long list of things to do for today, just so that i wont drown and die if all the stuff (for the week) i have to do piles up. Now, I am starting to feel how difficult junior year really is. Actually, I am a bit lucky because for the whole month of July, I only have 5 subjects (supposedly six). Why? My macroeconomics teacher got invited to this thing in Cambridge University - in the UK. Yes people.. in the UK.... haha i am like soooo green with envy... the time will come... it will come.

Anyway, I still got Marketing, Theology, Philosophy, OPMAN & History to worry about. Not only that, the moment my macroeco teacher comes back, its a given that he will schedule the first long test ASAP. Waaaaaaaah This semester really scares the hell out of me. I wish I could go back to Second year, or first year maybe... tests were easier then, heck, life was easier then.

Then again, three more semesters and I would be finished with my college. Garsh. haha I feel sooo old. Now that i am in third year, familiar faces from high school are also in the loyola schools.. haha its like high school all over again (with the seniority that comes with being an upperclassman of course).

BTW, I downloaded MP3s yesterday. I also got some MP3s from Katie's laptop. I think it is becoming a habit of mine to get MP3s from people's laptops... haha you not only get new MP3s, you also kinda get an idea/peek of the owner's personality. I love the new PCD Music Video!!! wahahaha its sooo H-O-T! I think that they are coming here soon or maybe they already went here.. I am not sure... but last time I heard, they had plans on visiting the Philippines - the lead singer (the only singer) even said that she was excited that she was going to see people who "looked like her."

That's all for now. Still got to go back to my readings.

Accdng to your count, 2 months. Sana. Kung 'di man ngayon, pagdating ng panahon. Ika nga nila, year of the snake ngayon. wahahaha

"Maybe part of the reason why we hold on to something so tight for so long is because we fear that something so great won't happen twice." The fact that you happened is so overwhelmingly great already. The thing is the fault's all mine. Its all me.

Moving on, I am sooo loving the new counter that I placed in this blog of mine. Kudos to the visitor from Bosnia and Herzegovina! haha It makes me feel good that people from all over the world are connected through the internet. I think this would be a new obsession of mine. haha help me get more rare flags...

BIENVENIDO LUMBERA, Ph. D. will be having a talk in Escaler Hall this monday about some particular topic. I really really want to go. Why? I just want to see him. haha *stalker* Its just that I have been studying his works since high school and I am amazed at his proficiency in both English and Filipino. I want to go. (^_^)

Its the same feeling that I had when I wanted to see Lualhati Bautista. She visited the Ateneo high school when I was a senior for her film Dekada '70 and I not only saw her, i had the chance to tell her how good the book was and had mine autographed (I can't find that copy though.)

I tried to start with chapter Two of my Theology Reading.. and it is sooo hopeless. I procrastinated and ended up reading all the other articles for other subjects. waaaah why does theo have to be this boring.

It seems that friendster won't load in this computer. How the hell am i going to stalk other people?? wahahaha kainis. It just doesnt want to load. I tried waiting for it... and it actually loaded the homepage - after 30 f*ckin' minutes.

Keys Me
Posted at 04:44 PM

I know that there are a lot of things that I have to do. But let me just sneak an entry before I start doing another paper. And after that, I have to do another one. And after that, (yes, yoiu guessed it correctly), I have to do another one. I just hope that these papers would bring good news when they come back to me in few days.

Sleepless nights are here again. I just did my part for marketing last night. It wasn't all that bad. At least our marketing paper has finally started to take form - with actual pages! haha I just heard kanina that it was only our teacher who required students to pass the first requirement. It is like soooo unfair. While others still have the time to research until August, we are required to pass it this Saturday - take note, this deadline has already been extended. Pero, at least we would be done with it na.

I have no Philosophy this friday. I would have been happy but because of that, I only have one class this Friday! damn. haha Anyway, at least that would give me more time to answer the Long Test, that was given last week. Procrastination really is becoming a habit. What else is new?

Anyway, I downloaded Paris Hilton's album yesterday. I actually like it. I could not imagine her actually singing it, but it is good. Its not like its soo bad that its good. Its like, its just good. I really love Stars are Blind (haha) and the Bye Bye Boy. I dont know if its just me but the beat for both songs really feel familiar... haha

Another girl to look out for is Rihanna. She is like so gorgeous pero not in the i-have-undergone-plastic-surgery-which-is-why-i-look-great way. She is just so refreshing. I like her song "Unfaithful".. parang "felt na felt" niya talaga. Try to download it and of course, her hit song "SOS".

And another thing, try to download the song Hey Ms. Hilton - it is so damn cute. haha I dont know who sang it.. pero its a bit rock-ish but I still like it. Kanina pa nga ako LSS eh.

That would be all for now. Got to go back to "work".

Ay nga pala, before I forget, you have to watch this video of a Viva Hotbabe named Alyssa Alano - her version of Kiss Me ~ Asa preview, here are some of the lyrics (try to sing it) haha

Keys me...
Beat in the verdict
Valeey... Nightlee
V-side the green green grass
Swing swing
Swing the spinny stef
You vur the shoez
And I will wear the dress

.: SONA :.
Posted at 04:59 PM

Its another Sunday afternoon and I just finished watching the show "How do they do it" in the Discovery Channel - its required for my Operations Management Class. Anyway, I slept a total of 14 hours for today - just to catch up because i practically did not sleep while I was editing the pass One for our Marketing class. Watching the sun rise would have been a good experience, except for the fact that my eyes were already tired and I still had to edit a few more pages.

Marketing, I must admit, is fun. The class is so practical, so liberal (haha) and its sooo enjoyable. But the workload sucks. For a 3-unit course, its just so demanding. The least they could do for this is to make it a 5 unit course - just like operations management because the time i devote for this class takes up so much more time compared to other classes. Waaaaah

After Pass One, we still have the Written Analysis of a Case (WAC) number two. We'll just have to see what is going to happen. I have two long tests this week and both fall on Friday! haha This is going to be a first for me - since I do not recall having two long tests on the same day in my whole life in the Ateneo. Sure, it was no biggie when I was in grade school and high school but in college, everything is just in a whole other level. Let's just see if I survive that day.

Something happened yesterday. I really had a lot of fun yesterday - having spent the day just going around gateway and then going to Justin's house just to hang out and then when I came home something happened.. and then something else. And then something happened this morning - everything just piled up and now my life is just crap. I just dunno what to do anymore. Life is so frustrating. kainis talaga. And there is no one that I can blame for this haha life is sooo much easier with a scapegoat.

Moving on, tomorrow is the president's SONA - wherein the best president that the Philippines has ever had will be addressing the nation. (Did you sense any biases? I did attempt to hide it ya know haha) Let us just see how senator Drilon will handle it... *sigh* sometimes mistakes (like showing one's true colors in a critical time) are something you have to live with. Its no her fault that she still has the people's loyalty - in the end, that is what matters.

I will be dismissed by 12:30 tomorrow, and the SONA would be after lunch, so that would allow me to watch the SONA. Haha Ang loser talaga - i might as well just make a sign to make everything official. Well, you can't blame me for liking such a brillian president.

Its raining again. What's new? I just looove the rainy season - especially when i am in my room with a cup of hot choco and there is a heavy downpour. I know its quite selfish for me do love it while some people actually have no houses and there are street children who are bound to get sick by playing on the streets, pero we all have to have our comfies in life right?

Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying what is left of the weekend. Hasta Luego.
