what colours have you seen today?

Well it has been a hectic and eventful week. It has got to be one of the most devastating week for this semester acads-wise. And yet, I am not that devastated. Haha Ewan ko ba. Its not like before. Apparently things have changed, or are constantly changing. Okay, off to random things.

1. Last wednesday, I was considering cutting my Philo class.  I was already late in the first place. But then, the faint-yet-still-present angel in me made me still go to class. Haha Its in the 3rd floor of CTC, so I was walking as calmly as ever and even had time for a CR detour. When I entered class, I was wondering why the lights were dimmed and there was something being projected on the screen. Medyo nastun ako. After a few moments, it hit me: there was a quiz on the last reading - one that I did not only read, but I was also late for. That was when I told myself: packing-sh*t. haha Haha What is more is that I only had a red pen and no paper to write on. Honestly, this was the first time I was completely unprepared for an academic requirement. I was so clueless. *sigh*

2. I finished my book for my LS 100 book report, and in just 1 day! Haha This was surprising because the only books that I can finish at that rate are Harry Potter books. I think the title of the book is "On becoming a Leader" by this guy, I actually forgot who. It was published in 1990. Haha It seems na it has only been a few years ago that it was the 1990's but in just a matter of a few years, it would have been 2 decades ago that the book was published. Ayun, so the book had a lot of messages, meanings, whatever you may call it. But, its not easy reading per se. And it would be heavy if you are like me who is unfamiliar with American Pop Culture before the 90's.

3. I received an e-mail this friday. All I can say is that I am relieved. I really did not think that it would come, especially after the previous one and how poorly I thought I performed. But I am soo glad it did. In a way, I was expecting the opposite, but I am so glad I got what I got. I aint saying anything anymore - para naman I won't jinx it.

4. I watched Episode 16 and 17 of Heroes yesterday. Haha its funny how everything else stops for Heroes. It just becomes more enticing as each episode passes. I am so excited for the next episodes. And yet, I am wondering why there were three people who were not in those episodes - Nikki, her husband and her son were not there in all two episodes. I wonder why.

5. I have a lot of requirements for this week. But then they are spread out evenly accross the next week. So I think I can handle them. Thank God teachers are more sympathizing this semester. Let me see, I have a quiz in Money and Banking, the dreaded paper for Deveco, the ALTP presentation for Philosophy, catching up for Finance and the final paper for LS. I have had several blows for this semester. Ewan. Things are just not going my way. Anyway, last few moments na of the semester. I just hope I can push and in a last ditch effort, get the grades I want.

6. I have had the time to watch the new season of Pinoy Big Brother. Ewan, six lang kasi sila so parang nakakasawa na sila at sila lang yung makikita mo sa house. Let me see, theres Saicy the dancer. Ezekiel with the nice accent I want to have. Mickey(sp?), the one who hides the fact that he can both speak and understand tagalog and english. My personal favorite, Wendy with the questionably natura big boobs and fighter personality. I especially loved her yesterday when she was talking about how unattractive she was in the past... and then she became emotional and finally said... "p*tang*ina, maganda na ako ngayon!" OMG, go girl! Gee Ann and her irritating excuse for a doll (I mean, grow up already!!!). And of course, the first person I want to see out of the house, Nel. One word, ewww. Sana matanggal ka kaagad Nel. Nakakairita ka. Nel es feo. Nel es ewww. Ewwwww.

7. I am going to try to finish the Big Blue Run bukas. Haha This is the first time I am going to run a marathon-like event. I paid 150 for the entrance fee. And I got this number also - parang runner talaga. Actually, i just want to know if kaya ko talaga, and I also have my eyes on the "finisher" shirt. I just hope that I get to finish the race.*fingers crossed*

8. OMG! I forgot one important thing that happened! This week, I  was given a new puppy! Well, the puppy is a she. This is the first time na girl yung pet ko since Mitten and Goblet are both boys. And the funny thing is she doesnt look like a girl. Haha In one word, mukha siyang Monchichi. Haha She has dark brown hair with black highlights in her face and tail. Haha But she is starting to grow on me. Haha And I named her Cielo - spanish for heaven. Bakit naman? wala lang, maganda kasi pakinggan eh. I am so glad that she is getting along with my two other pets, especially Goblet -  who knew that Goblet had maternal instincts in him? I'll try to post a pic of her soon.

9. I haven't cleaned the aquarium in a month now. Pero, none of the fishes are dead. Its probably because I bought them the more expensive fish food rather than the generic ones I used to buy them in the past. I think its called Tetrafin - and I think it makes the fish look healthier, live longer, have better colors, and basically not die when the water already has growing algae. Ayun, its a good investment especially since I usually dont have the time to clean the aquarium as the semester ends.

10. And finally, this week, nakasabit na ako sa jeep! haha I know that it is soooo third world, but then again, look around, YOU are in the third world, and part of the Philippine third world experience are jeeps. Wala lang, I am so proud of myself. Honestly, it is one of those things one has to do in a lifetime.

Ayun, 10 thoughts na lang muna. I am tired ot typing na. Ciao.

PS I am thinking of making a new layout for the summer. Wala lang. Feel ko kasi kailangan. Haha I am not sure if I could top this layout kasi feeling ko talaga super ganda niya, pero I really really want a new layout. Hmmmm di naman ako nagsasawa sa layout na ito. Basta gusto ko lang ng bago. Weird no?
